Web Accessibility
The principal objective of Web Accessibility is to remind website creators of all the developed techniques for making webpages readable for the handicapped and for all users. The goal is to facilitate access to the greatest number of users.
The primary concern of Accessibility is to provide access to the information contained in a website without any restriction as to hardware, software, or physical/mental handicap so that everyone can use the internet. A website is considered accessible when any person, regardless of his physical, mental, or hardware/software limitations, can navigate and understand it.
Web Accessibility is the ability for all users to realize the goal of the site designer.
The most common goal of any website is the exchange of information including:
- Presenting descriptive information.
- Learning concepts and abilities.
- Connecting to other webpages.
- Navigating and Sorting large quantities of information to find the relevant information for each user.
- Gaming and activities.
